Je kunt niets beters vinden dan deze plek. Nestled onder gummenbomen met veel open gebieden om je caravan te parkeren en de geluiden van de natuur echo in de achtergrond. Om deze plek te bereiken moet je gesloten boerderij poorten die duidelijk zijn gemarkeerd Cockatoo Lake. Er waren 4 anderen hier al en langzamer rollen in. Dit is zeker een must stop overnight verblijf of langer. Mooi landschap.

Je komt door een gesloten poort. Zorg ervoor dat je het na je afsluit. Het was erg nat toen we aankwamen en de meeste sites waren onder water. We vonden echter een hogere plaats in de buurt van het toiletblok. De hele plaats was erg schoon en netjes, het toilet ziet er bijna nieuw uit. Veel vuilnisbakken. Het is erg rustig en er waren slechts vier andere campers in het park. Wel een stop waard. De weg in is 12 km van geplaveide weg maar het is smal. Het laatste deel is vuil maar erg glad.

Perfect spot. Water low. Drive to the right and you can have a whole area to yourself.

Excellent spot for all types of vans, tents and campers We camped here for Australia Day ( Monday ) and we had it all to ourselves, except for the grazing sheep and the hundreds of corella’s Hidden Jem just 11 km off the highway Drop toilets were clean and relatively new Phone reception was good (Telstra) internet was hit and miss

Note: This is a donation camp. We paid $10. What a gem! Wake up to the waterfrontage!! it’s 12 klms off the highway and the last 4 or so are dirt but only a few potholes and no corrugating. Toilets are clean and well appointed. (Ignoring the bugs)! Although the toilets had plenty of bugs our magnetic screens kept them out. So quiet last night we noticed the inverter in the trailer running which went never noticed before! Worth the diversion off the bitumen! Very weak phone signal.

Beautiful campsite by the lake. Flushable toilet, unisex. Few fire bits. Donations by the entrance of the lake. Pets are welcome on a lease. Little phone signal.

Zeer mooie plek. Schoon gespoeld toilet, prachtig uitzicht en hond vriendelijk.

Geweldige plek. Water hoog. Een beetje modderig maar nog steeds in staat om te kamperen op de hoge grond. Kleine speeltuin (slide en bars).

Geweldige plek om te verblijven. Veel kamer, toegankelijk, een toilet en veel vuilnisbakken.
