Site was good for parking wise BUT I found it unbelievable that you have to pay to use the showers and on top of that the showers and toliets are completely unisex this creates a massive opening for sexual assault. I personally did not feel safe sharing bathrooms and paying already $56 for a powered site then paying $5 extra for hot water. Didn’t use any of the other facilities such as the kitchen ect.

Lovely views of the beach and bay- worth booking Beach side pitch. Very clean toilets and showers. Showers need $1 coin and work well. Nice site with established shrubs on site, feels less barren than most sites. Pitches are very small so might feel crowded in peak season but lovely in March. We didn't use the cafe or kitchen. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small playground plus bouncing pillow and trampoline.

Lovely tidy park with great, clean facilities. We had a great pitch backing on to the beach with wonderful views. We had to leave earlier than planned, due to the severe weather warnings.

De faciliteiten zijn oud en klein, de keuken, geen ruimte voor meer dan 3 personen tegelijk. Ze betalen voor de douche maar ik heb 2 geprobeerd en ze werkten niet om 7:30 uur en niemand is op de site deze tijd van de ochtend.

Vriendelijk personeel, redelijke faciliteiten. $50 voor twee mensen om te kamperen voor een nacht. douches kosten extra. Onze tent site was erg klein en blootgesteld met wegen direct achter en naar rechts van ons, een voetpad in de voorkant, en een andere tent inches naar links.

We verbleven hier 2 nachten. "Op" het strand, maar het is bedekt met zwarte rotsen en driftwood en u wordt geadviseerd om niet te zwemmen in het water op de stranden in Napier vanwege de sterke ondergrond. De camping was rustig, schoon, betaalbaar en overvloedig. De douches zijn $1/5 min. De wasmachine / droger is $4 / $2 respectievelijk. Ik zou hier weer verblijven

Grote site maar echt kleine keuken en toilet. strand is niet mooi. te duur voor lage kwaliteit.

geweldige plek om te verblijven, hebben een dollar munten klaar als je komt in de middag of terwijl de receptie is open voor de douches. we kwamen terwijl ze open waren. mooie en schone plek

We arrived just slightly after hours and didn’t realize we had to bring dollar coins- ONLY dollar coins- to make the showers work ($1/5min). There isn’t a change machine, so with the office being closed we had to beg an exchange for two off whoever happened to be in the kitchen at the time. Nobody else had realized this was the case either.The men’s showers only got lukewarm for the last two minutes, women’s lukewarm the whole time, otherwise cold. Otherwise facilities were relatively clean and orderly, site was pretty quiet. Washer was effective, dryer not so much ($4 for 30 mins, jeans were still quite damp at the end). Lots of birds- one of them decided to knock on our window for about 20 mins straight at 6am, and we woke up to bird poo all over everything. Nothing you can do about nature though.
