Cash only site, maakt gebruik van eerlijkheidssysteem in dropbox. Geweldige 5G receptie. Mooie kat verwelkomde ons. Powered site was goed, geplaveid, niveau met gemakkelijke toegang tot stroom en water op elke site. Faciliteiten zijn ouder, maar we vonden alles schoon en functioneel. Lichten en warm water in douches zijn op een push-knop timer maar als je een ellebogen op de hot water-knop tijdens het douchen je krijgt een mooie sterke en warme douche. Een wasmachine en droger in de wasruimte kost $ 2 munten. Dump station gemakkelijke toegang.

We stayed here one night and was the only camper, other then someone staying in a cabin which are available on site Toilets & kitchen available which are both very clean, showers also. $35 for a powered site & drinking water, $30 unpowered. Nice spot of the ocean and had no concerns

Zou absoluut niet aanraden! Goed gereden en helemaal niet schoon, de deursloten in de badkamer en douche waren gebroken, later die nacht schreeuwde iemand buiten onze camper dat de douche niet na gebruik was gemonteerd, om nog maar te zwijgen dat het nat en vuil was voordat we er kwamen! $ 70 is een rip off

It's a very clean and quiet town, near the sea, with beautiful scenery. Unlike other reviews that mentioned being mistreated, the host was also very friendly.

Spent a lovely night at this campground on a powered site. Can't pre book but was very quiet whilst we were there. A little on the pricey side with cash only honesty box. Facilities were very clean and ample for what we needed. Beautiful sunrise. Excellent WiFi.

I read all the negative reviews and I completely disagree. This campsite is great. Close to the ferry terminal. Lovely views! Clean toilets and kitchens. Self service check in so bring cash, if not there’s a cash machine at four square just down the road. No check in and check out times. I felt safe as a solo traveller. Good signal and free wifi!

I’m never one to leave a negative review, however the manager of this site was exceptionally rude. We have travelling the entire country and this was the only campsite we have avoided due to the managers behaviour.

Facilities were clean, easy to check in through cash in envelope. A bit over priced but overall enjoyed it. Very friendly cat at the site which made it even better

Self-serviced campground as you pay by putting money in an envelope. Campground is nothing fancy and facilities are out-dated. They are clean though and hot showers. Possibility of a nice walk near sterling point just around the corner. Convenient location close to ferry to Stewart Island.

De camping is gunstig gelegen, de terreinen zijn vlak en er is veel groen. De sanitaire voorzieningen zijn niet acceptabel: twee toiletten, een douche en een douche zijn vuil en een is verstopt. De keuken is erg vuil, en de wasmachine en droger zijn oud en ook vuil. Betaling is alleen mogelijk in contanten. $70 voor een nacht is buitensporig duur.
