We hielden van Bluff Lodge & Guest House! 3 van ons verbleven daar voor en na de richting van Rakiura en Kay was zo mooi en gastvrij, gaf ons een geweldige warme kamer en tarief terwijl we onze vrachtwagen parkeren in haar tuin toen we op Rakiura waren. Zowel Kay en Atu waren zo vriendelijk. Ze lopen de plaats tussen hen en zijn een van de weinige authentieke plekken die worden geserveerd aan reizigers, evenals een kooky plezier plek. Deffo gaan hier en ondersteunen mensen die echt zorgen!

Bluff Lodge is a wonderful place to stay ! Lot of space and confortable. Kay is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met ! I was in trouble with my car, I couldn't start anymore. Kay was so kind and supportive with me. Even if it's not her job, she came with me to the garage to help me with my english (because I am French ). She did everything to make my stay at Bluff as pleasant as possible despite this breakdown. I am infinitely grateful to Kay. I can only recommend this place !

This place is what travelling in a campervan is all about, quirky, fun and meeting beautiful people. We parked our camper out the back of the lodge for a night in Bluff, Kaye and Atu were a delight, gave us lots of infomation and a tour of the lodge. Best to contact in advance as there isn't much space, but everything you need for an o/n stay.

Staying here was a real highlight of our trip. Kay is a wonderful host who really took the time to get to know us and looked after us. We stayed in our van in the attached carpark for a very reasonable price, which is close to the facilities. Great for smaller vans, but the larger ones (e.g. big Mauis) wouldn't be able to fit. Really hope we get to stay here again soon!

Extraordinary! What a nice, quirky, peculiar place. We loved it. Clean enough to stay healthy and scruffy enough to be happy. Kay is a warmhearted person, a great host. We stayed there with our campervan before, whilst and after our trip to Steward Island. If you are open minded and like the 1980-vibes, you are right at this Lodge.

Great spot if you want to sleep in your campervan (small one only like Nissan Serena / Toyota Hiace etc.) while enjoying all the facilities of the motel (kitchen, hot shower, wifi etc.). Thanks so much Kay!

Een warm welkom van de dame van het gasthuis. We konden onze campervan achter het huis parkeren. We kregen een uitleg van waar alles was gelegen: keuken, toilet en badkamer. Uitstekende douche en keuken, en allemaal voor $ 30 NZ. Net tijd zou ik zeker maken gebruik van haar gastvrijheid weer.

Er is een kleine parkeerplaats achter de lodge voor uw vrachtwagen, maar houd er rekening mee dat het alleen geschikt is voor kleine voertuigen (onze Toyota Hiace past). Voor $ 30 per nacht hadden we ook toegang tot de douche, toilet, keuken en Wi-Fi. U kunt uw auto verlaten tijdens het wandelen op Stewart Island voor $ 5 per nacht. U kunt bellen om te reserveren. Kay is zeer welkom, dank u!
