De eigenaren zijn ongelooflijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Faciliteiten zijn moe maar schoon en functioneel. We zagen pinguïns op het strand een avond.

Mooie camping, een van onze favorieten in NZ. Geweldige kleine plek met een winkel met alles wat je mogelijk nodig zou kunnen hebben op de site, benzine als je het nodig hebt en echt schone voorzieningen. Het personeel was alles behalve leuk en behulpzaam voor ons en vertelde ons zelfs over de sprookjespinguïns die onder de hutten wonen. We hebben erin geslaagd om 4 pinguïns te zien op slechts 200m van onze vans. (Neem alstublieft geen flitsen!) Recht op het strand en in de buurt van afscheidsspuiten.

The staff at this campsite are some of the most unpleasant people we have encountered in New Zealand. Not sure why they own a campsite if they're gonna act like they don't even want you there.

Extremely lovely campsite without a big snack. place above the sea excellently located. kitchen and sanitary facilities somewhat outdated but kept very clean.

Great vibe! Ignore the comments about the mean lady, new owners now so the new lady is lovely! Right on the beach so perfect for watching the sunrise and going for a swim. A few sandflies tenting but nothing with a bit of repellent. Great showers and toilets for ladies, fantastic way to start our trip!

Loveley Campsite next to the beach. Warm welcome on the reception, basic and clean facilities, TV-room and good working WiFi :) any time again!

Lovely spot right on the beach, good facilities, big kitchen (need your own pots etc), clean free showers with no timers (yay no standing naked and cold waiting to rinse your hair) and very sweet hosts. An absolute steal for $20 per person. Call ahead to book as they do sell out.

Beautiful location next to the beach, clean and well-maintained facilities, hot showers… I would definitely return!

Het is een super leuke en mooie plek. zeer aanbevolen! Onbeperkte douches, alles is zeer schoon.

Amazing spot! Very natural, hot showers, great kitchen. The best fire pit we’ve ever seen - make sure to bring marshmallows! $20 a night plus $5 for power site which is sooooo worth what you get. Lovely campers seem to flock here and if you walk just 20 mins flat to the right of the coast you’ll come across the most incredible beach I have ever swam in. Just perrrfect!!! You can’t book but that’s okay, lots of space. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Fabian and family x
