Gorgeous view, friendly staff and well priced! Facilities are basic but everything you need, and pub across the road has great staff and good free wifi. Felt super safe staying here as a solo female traveller!

Goede basiscamping voor het verkennen van Coromandel schiereiland / dagtour naar Cathedral Cove. Bij het inchecken was een zeer vriendelijke jonge dame, ik kon kiezen uit tal van plaatsen direct aan het water. 15NZD p.p. onpowered is een zeer redelijke prijs voor een schone keuken (geen kookapparatuur, byo) en schone badkamer. koude douches zijn gratis, warme douches 1NZD (coin) voor 5 min. Breng drankjes / voedsel omdat er niet echt iets is. kleine winkel in het receptie gebouw.

Ongelooflijke site. Alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt voor een ongelooflijke prijs van $ 15 zonder stroom en het gaat terug naar de zee, dus wakker worden en kijken naar de zonsondergang op de oceaan was behoorlijk ongelooflijk. Wassen, kleine keuken maar altijd leeg als de meerderheid van de bewoners zijn full-time. Schone douches en toiletten. Als je naar de coromandel kustlijn gaat, vindt u geen betere plek voor de prijs.

We turned up last minute and they where very accommodating. Paid $15pp for unpowered site right on th water front was great views. Facility’s where not far of a walk. Toilets/showered were clean. $1 for hot shower Kitchen was pretty small but well equipped

Beautiful spot by the water. The restrooms are functional but cost extra ($1 for 5 minutes of hot water / $4 for laundry). Price per person: $15 per night.

Great experience for an unpowered oceanfront site ($30 per night for 2 people). Hot showers cost $1 for 5 minutes, everything is clean, including the toilets. The kitchen is accessible and has a stove, microwave, and kettle—everything you need. The fire station is nearby, so be aware of the sirens at night, but other than that, the campground is very peaceful and the people are very friendly.

We stayed at the unpowered site, which is closer to the shore and on the grass. The views were lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We went without a reservation.
