Very large, spacious area! Lots of grass, and heaps of trees. Usual DOC facilities- cold shower/ drop toilet. Full bars of 4G service with 2Degrees and Spark. LOTS of rats though, we were tenting and saw about 5 in the bush behind us- and they’re not afraid of people… jury is out on any damage yet, but something to keep in mind when staying as they are known for getting into and chewing cars/tents to get food. Ranger seems to be on site a lot, but we didn’t encounter them at all.

Really lovely beach. But the powered sites pitches hadn’t been mowed (mid March) so we had to wade through foot long grass which made it difficult to enjoy the outside of our campervan. Road is interesting to get there but we felt it was worth it for the beach.

Super great spot! Very spacious, quiet, and only a short walk to a beach where there’s few other people. Nice cold showers and toilets. Even had mirrors at the hand washing sinks! Road is gravel and windy on the way there but if you can make it it’s well worth the trip!

Beautiful campground! Wauw. Just amazing. Very spacious, green, near the beach (which is stunning). Facilities are very basic (cold showers and pit toilets) but that’s what you know from DOC’s. Loved it, we were literally all by ourselves.

Beautiful doc campsite close to a nice beach, perfect for a morning stroll or dip. The road to reach it is beautiful as well, although a bit challenging for a van (dirt road, long roads of gravel).

Zo'n mooie camping op 2 minuten lopen van het strand! Verschillende leuke koude douches (één geopend aan de trailhead ook!) met privé-stallen en stromend water met zeep voor gerechten en handen. Pit toiletten maar de stallen waren schoon. Grass campsite met veel ruimte om overal te gaan! De persoon die hieronder commentaar moet meer kamperen omdat als dit het ergste is, ze in voor een rude ontwaken op andere DOC campings😂

De slechtste camping die ik ooit heb bezocht, niet de moeite waard het geld, voelde zich niet veilig, er was nergens personeel te zien voor de hele twee dagen dat we daar verbleven, badkamers waren afschuwelijk een gat in de vloer zodat iedereen 'afval' eromheen kon ruiken, de toegang tot het strand was koel en mooi maar niet de moeite waard de afschuwelijke camping betalen niet voor dit, koude douches, geen wifi

Mooie camping met zeker als zijn verborgen plek de toegang tot het strand!!!We hadden een leeg strand allemaal voor onszelf met de perfecte zonsondergang!
