Privé plek, rustig en zonder lichten. Het kan een beetje angstaanjagend in de nacht. verbleef 1 nacht en er was slechts 1 van. Het is net in het midden van nergens en heel ver van een stad.

Geen toiletten, verblijf in Waihaha DOC gratis camping onderweg in plaats daarvan - toiletten, kookruimte en douche voor het wassen van gerechten, plus veel ruimte.

We verbleven voor een nacht en het was erg rustig. Volg de tekenen voor het elektriciteitsstation en je zult het geen probleem vinden.

Very quiet peacefully spot for a night's stopover. Directions and GPS cordinates not quite right. Instead of driving straight ahead when you get to the last intersection via towards the right, sign says Rangipo Power Station

Quiet it feels good to be alone on a spot. With snow! :-)

This site is 500 Mtrs or so past the main campground but not marked well. After passing the main signposted camp area beside the stream, turn left into a road that stops at a power station. There seem to be a few holes in the forest right next to the stream. Wonderful clear water. Shade and sun where required .
