This has to be one of the best free campsites in QLD. Quiet at night, beautiful beach that stretches for many kilometres. Facilities are all good with running water and toilets, cooking stoves. Restaurant nearby too, serves fish and chips and the likes. You need to book in advance but we booked same day and it wasn’t too crowded.

Fantastisk campingplass med rikelig med skygge, kranvann og en utendørs dusjkran. Celletjeneste er flekkete, noe som er frustrerende når du prøver å bestille plassen din på nettet, men mange mennesker dukket opp uten en bestilling. (På min telle var det åtte telt, men bare fem tillatelser.)

Elsker det Begrenset 4G-tilkobling, men camping 10m fra sjøen

Veldig vakker sted. Stille, ryddig og komfortabel. Det er en strand dusj. 10/10 Men det er noen gale fugler som vil rope tilfeldig tidlig om morgenen og vekke deg!

Vi elsker dette stedet!:) Fantastisk utsikt over soloppgangen fra vårt tak telt! Virkelig nær stranden, piknikbord, grill, rent toalett og en fin kul utendørs dusj.

Great spot beach front, clean and quiet

It is a beautiful site. I booked in when I got there at 4pm via a QR code on a sign - not hard to find a spot when I was the only camper!

Nice place, we werw lucky that we were the only campers. Sitw enxt to the beach with facilities clean, benches and tables, not surw if the water is for drink so bring yours. Area seem to be inhabited by crocodiles as the signs say so dont camp that close of the beach just in case.

This place is not big, it can be integrated into about 10 ordinary cars but can set up a tent, next to the beach, suitable for a car to move camping backpackers occasionally police will patrol the shower room, but it is cold water and outdoors The environment here is fairly clean, and it is quiet at night. Very nice rest area! Lots of shade, many bbq and picnic table! We visited the kiosk here a few times to get cold beers and when we were lazy to cook! Free camping for 48 hours. Proper Toilet with lights on at night. Get in here in the morning as it gets full easily here Cons: mozzies at night and you will have plenty of bird shit on your tent if you are doing rent camping ?
