Nydelig sted å tilbringe natten! Litt støyende når vi ankommer rundt 4pm, men da var det stille.

The spot looks different to the pictures. It's more a kind of a roundabout close to the mainroad. UnfortunatelyI can't upload any photos but if you check on google maps you will see. The road was a bit busy during the day but quiet in the night. Toilet were very dirty. Only 4 spots available. But nice grass, old treea ans picnic areas available.

Great place to stay for the night. Only room for 4-5 vans (if people park properly). We were the first to get there at 5 and it filled up quickly. Some people stayed in the parking lot not in the designated spots and didn’t seem to have a problem. Very nice river right next to it, great for swimming. One bathroom which was in fine condition. Beautiful grassy lawn, big trees, bird song, picnic tables. We were very happy to have found this spot.

Godt sted. Bare se opp, bare sporene på høyre side er for selv inneholdt. Ranger var der på 7 am.

Dette er et vakkert frihetspunkt rett ved en ren elv og en pub. Det er et veldig rent, godt vedlikeholdt toalett. Frihetspunktet kan fint passe 4 mellomstore vaner / campingplasser eller 5 mindre. Vi ankom midt på uken kl. 4 og det var plass til 1 mer van som ble tatt en time senere og deretter på 4 kjøretøy det ble fylt.

Vi ankom rundt kl. 6 på fredag (også en offentlig ferie) og det var fortsatt plass til rundt 3 flere vaner. Badet er rent. Det er ingen vann. Elven er fin og det er et stort gressområde for å henge ut. Det var stille om natten.

Official space is for just 5-6 smaller vans crammed in side-by-side. Probably need to be early to claim one. We missed out (6pm Tuesday early feb). Looks like a nice good spot with a river swim and pub nearby. Nothing else free nearby: must go to Whitianga, or pay ~$85 for an unpowered site at either Hahei Resort campground or Hot Water beach paid camps.

Our first freedom camping experience and it was a great spot! The stream was great for swimming, the pub across the bridge was really good and the drop toilets weren’t offensive at all. Would recommend this spot.

Nice place with the river and picnic tables. There is a toilet, but it smells really, really bad. Lots of cars and truck stopping by to use the toilet in the evening, but calm at night.

Really nice place to stay! There is no water, but at least there is a toilet.
