Slightly sloping but adorable club members next door. The view of the peak right next door is not bad.

Got there about 5.30 pm, 3 campers already there. You have to park between the signs, spaces for 4. We had to wait till the walkers moved their car to park in the last spot. Not flat. Very calm and no noise at night. Clean toilets and sink.

Wow! Great free campground! Just under the Mt. Manaia where the hike begins. Very quiet, you can hear kiwi there (I had no luck to see them). Felt safe as female solo traveler 😊

Loved This place! Basic with one loo but comfortable enough. Quiet and peaceful at the base of the hike. The club next door is so friendly and welcoming to visitors, we went in for drink and game of pool. Fish and chip shop 10 min walk away was decent too. Overall great free camp for one night

Parking in front of the Mount. Approx. 4 véhicules. Quiet and nice view. Toilets 24h/24h. Clean but no lights. Max 1 night stay. Nice pub near by.

Bardzo fajne miejsce!! Byliśmy sami na noc, nie próbowaliśmy bar obok, ale wydawało się bardzo przyjazny. Toalety są czyste i otwarte przez całą noc, nie może być śmieci na miejscu. Następnego dnia zrobiliśmy wędrówkę na górę Manaia i to było niesamowite! W skrócie: świetne miejsce, aby rozpocząć swoją wędrówkę ahaha i piękny widok

Bardzo cicho, nic w pubu obok nas. Idealna lokalizacja, jeśli robisz szczyt spacer rano. Brak wyznaczonych zatok po prostu muszą pasować pojazdy między dwoma znakami. Łatwo 3 samochody. Toalety na miejscu, bardzo czyste i otwarte 24/7

We enjoyed this spot. It is closed to the road, cars passing by through the night didn't bother us at all. We were spoiled with euphonious sounds coming from the nearby club. Two picnic benches and clean toilets. Our stay here was concluded with a very scenic morning walk up Mt. Manaia.
