Great place, definitely recommended - not only for birders!

To był jeden z najważniejszych punktów naszej podróży! Dowiedzieliśmy się tak wiele o ptakach NZ i staraniach o ochronę, które są podejmowane na całym świecie.

Naprawdę świetne! Poszliśmy na miły spacer do ptaków i obserwowaliśmy, jak wrybills latają i inne ptaki nadmorskie wędrują. Personel był bardzo miły i pouczający i pozwolili nam wziąć prysznice tutaj w zamian za darowiznę.

A bummer at the edge of the road with the noise of cars. 3 seagulls ,ducks and swallows with cows ........

Beware of the tides. When we were there it was low tide and we couldn't see any birds...

Nicely set up walk and bird hides - just ensure you go at high tide! The Centre further up the road has plenty of information and binoculars for hire.
