Debbie & Frits were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts and have a beautiful place. Great yarns, warm vibes and the coolest little music room. Cannot recommend enough. Will be back to visit :)

Terako Downs is amazing! The hosts are by far the best part. They are holding all sorts of events and festivals and have such a beautiful peaceful property, best campsite in the south island by far! Their Little dog Django is a cutiepie too 🥰

One of the best campsites I have found in the South Island. My wife and I love it and return as often as possible, usually with a group of like minded friends. Always lots of fun, the music evenings are amazing Debbie & Fritz are fantastic hosts who always seem to be going the extra mile to ensure guests are well looked after.

Lugar maravilhoso para ficar, ótima hospitalidade, localização rural tranquila, vista para o Monte Lyford, recomendo este local de acampamento.

Isso foi realmente algo especial. Tudo era de fato um pouco retró e, portanto, toda a atmosfera era única. posso especialmente recomendar o lugar para ciclistas, por exemplo, fazer a trilha Hurunui. Por último, mas não menos importante: Debbie e Fritz são ouvidos e alma de toda a coisa e isso você sempre vai perceber.

Lugar muito tranquilo e acolhedor em um cenário bonito. banheiros e uma pequena cozinha estão no local, mas o destaque do local é o salão icônico cheio de móveis e lembranças dos anos 60 e 70.

Lugar bonito e acolhido pelo proprietário Fritz! Sereno, calmo e agradável vista. Apenas banheiros secos, uma pequena cozinha, um pequeno playground, museu retro legal, e co-campers doces ao redor. Traga dinheiro (eles também fazem transferência bancária).

Truely a camper's dream come true! You'll feel like you're entered a parallel universe;) So amazed of this hidden gem in the middle of nowhere in beautiful nature. Highly recommend detour, come here when on the South Island! 20$ night/van.LOVE the quirky common area with kitchen, fireplace, Hifi with great CDs, vintage museum/collection. Can park your campervan on the grass in the garden & there are outside toilettes. Debby& Fritz are such lovely hosts, made us feel so welcome. Place to be:)
