Chegamos em uma tarde de quarta-feira e éramos os únicos lá. Muito silencioso, um bar de recepção com Spark, apenas usável para os essenciais nus. Banheiros funcionais, mas sujos. No entanto, havia um chuveiro quente limpo e gratuito (!) com um cubo privado. Fantástico e mil pontos mais. Caixas de lixo estavam disponíveis. Sem estranhos ou crackheads.

Came here on a Friday afternoon. The toilets were alright and it was quiet but looked a bit rough. As soon as we opened the door it absolutely stunk! Not sure if it was the toilets or what? But really bad smell. Wouldn’t want any windows or doors open. Then saw the review about noise across the river and always worry about weekends. Ended up leaving and going to Little Waipa which was huge clean and beautiful.

I came on a Thursday night and it was fine. A ute came.around midnight and parked next to me with the engine on. When i looked throught the window, they moved a bit further and switched off the engine and the lights. With all the comments on other freecamps, I didn't feel so safe but the spot is great with hot shower ! So I would still recommend it. Just lock your van while you sleep.

A stunning spot, with hot shower and a clean toilet. Quite a bit of space, only 3 other campers when we were there. Unfortunately there were some hoons at Bulmers Landing on the other side of the lake playing loud music and doing burn outs to 4.30am. It could easily have been our campground they chose though. I dont think this is a high priority for the police, however it might help if the council put in some speed bumps? We stayed on a Friday night. Might be worse Friday and Saturday?

Close to the river and nice free hot shower

Beautiful location. A few other campers. We sent a very peaceful and enjoyable night here.

Um lugar bonito, mas um popular para os jovens. Fiquei em uma noite de sexta-feira. Música alta até tarde, argumentando, e uma 2am bateu na minha porta, que eu não abri. Um carro saiu de combustível. Então separadamente, um cara com cortadores de parafuso chegou às 5h30 para tentar roubar a bateria do chuveiro. Minha pior experiência de camper de sempre. A vista é pitoresca. Foi bem-aventurada, até que a escuridão caiu.

Lugar bonito ao lado do rio. Alguns caminhões lá e cães e crianças felizes brincando no lago. Mas as pessoas eram respeitosas e sem música ou barulho. Loos básicos decentes e bons cubículos de chuveiro. Grande lugar. Sem energia.

Amou este lugar! Ocupado e claramente um lugar que os moradores gostam no fim de semana, mas gostamos da energia que isso trouxe. chuveiros quentes e banheiros.

Ficou aqui há algumas semanas e gostou da nossa estadia. banheiros limpos e até mesmo um chuveiro solar quente gratuito. Havia um par de famílias que podem ter sido residentes permanentes, mas eles eram tranquilos e respeitosos. Sem recepção de telefone aqui e um pouco fora da estrada principal, então não tenho certeza que eu teria sido confortável aqui se meu parceiro não estivesse comigo.
