O acampamento é bonito em um dia ensolarado - rio passando, ótima vista das montanhas nevadas. Vale a pena o 11km de carro da estrada principal, o último 1km de estrada de barro não foi ruim. Sem instalações, apenas natureza ao redor - fizemos um pequeno incêndio usando madeira de deriva.

Ótimo lugar, mas sem banheiro.

Se você é dos EUA e usou para boondocking / acampamento disperso, este lugar é perfeito. Não havia banheiros ou latas de lixo, mas havia paz e tranquilidade e um rio agradável. Fomos aqui durante o dia para ver o lugar e mergulhar no rio e lamentamos não acampar aqui.

There aren’t any toilets or any signs at all

Only self contained campers that are certified. No toilets also no signs with information. Don’t camp on the river as the water rises when raining

Two gravel areas by the river, at risk of flooding. It rained a lot while I was there yesterday and there was no issue but was warned by the nice woman who came to check the self contained sticker that the water could rush in very quickly. No amenities at site (no water, toilet, trash). River looked like it could be nice but not in rainy weather. Really good public toilets in Whataroa, 12 min drive away.

This is just a gravel parking space without toilets, bins or signs indicating that this is indeed a campsite.

Nice spot by the river and good view of mountains. No phone reception, bins or toilets. Toilets are 10 min drive in town. Plenty of space. Gravel drive but nothing awful.
