Owner had recently died, so family were trying to run it from Hamilton. Meant I had to pay in cash in an honesty box. Cash available at the petrol station for a small fee. About half the sites were permanent and nobody was home. So I had the whole place to myself. Kitchen, toilets and wash house all dated but clean and tidy. The weather was brilliant and kawhia was lovely.

Locație excelentă, facilitățile sunt bune, mai ales având în vedere prețul acestui camping în comparație cu ceilalți din zonă. Nu l-am întâlnit pe proprietar de când nu era în jur, dar încă foarte prietenos și receptiv prin e-mail!

Proprietarul este foarte frumos și de ajutor. Am ajuns spontan și destul de târziu și a fost capabil de a obține un loc cu energie electrică. În seara am condus la Hot Water Beach, la aproximativ 3 km distanță.

Dacă sunteți în căutarea pentru un site alimentat nu du-te aici dacă a existat o grămadă de ploaie ca ea inundații. am condus din Auckland, din păcate nu a existat nici un loc pentru noi să meargă.

Stayed here one night at an unpowered sight and had a great experience! Clean facilities including showers and kitchen. Great value for money plus owner Garry was very friendly! Definitely recommend!

Fantastic Motor Camp!! Just spent a night here! Garry the host was such a nice, down to earth chap and really knowledgable and helpful about the area. We had an unpowered site, plenty of space and the grounds were kept immaculate, great facilities and just a 5 minutes walk down to the waterfront. Loved it! Thanks for having us! Find us at www. Everything is very clean but we are a little tight as sardines. The owner is very friendly and the showers hot. Good as an emergency campsite

The guy managing the place is quite rude and hostile. He is falsely and boastfully, knowingly advertising the fee per night online, then charges more when you arrive. Then argues that is not false advertising and walks away from you. The campsite is awful for tents anyway.

Cheaper campsite than the other one. Paid per campervan parking for 2 people. Clean facilities and good working condition. Its just no shade from the sun, can't really stay there during the day even inside the van.
