Best campsite so far. Hot showers with very strong water pressure. Everything is very clean. Large, well-equipped kitchen area with refrigerator, freezer, and oven.

Three beautiful campgrounds with views of the sea. The kitchen is also great. The owner is very arranging and borrowed us pellet to go to make our hole in the sand. He also provides kayak. Of course our best campsite on the North Island.

Nice little campground. Owner lives on site. So no issues with noise. Feel safe and sound. Free spades for hot water beach.

Honestly, as a woman traveling alone, go for it without hesitation. Everything is clean, the people are friendly, and the view is incredible. If you ask, the owner will tell you exactly what time to go to the hot water beach and will even provide you with a shovel. It's a peaceful and amazing place!

This campsite is by far the best we've stayed at during our six-week New Zealand vacation. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. At $40 including electricity for a two-person campervan, the price is absolutely fair. There are free kayaks available for exploring the inlet. On our first evening, we were even treated to fresh smoked fish he had caught that day. The site is quiet and just a five-minute drive from Hot Water Beach, where free shovels are also provided. Highly recommended!

The owner was at a birthday party and the place was actually fully booked, but after a quick phone call, I was able to stay. The kitchen was superbly equipped, there was a lounge, and a toilet.

$20 per person, facing the sea. Toilets, hot showers, Wi-Fi and even a jacuzzi!! Kitchen with toaster, oven, microwave, kettle... The best paid campsite we've been to.

Ne-a plăcut absolut acest loc. Gazda și partenerul său au fost atât de prietenoși și ospitalieri. Au prins o mulțime de snapper și l-au împărtășit cu toată lumea. Proaspăt și fumat 😋 Tabăra era spațioasă, plană și tăiată cu vedere la mare. Kawhia este un mic oraș minunat, plin de istorie, cu un mic muzeu și port. Ziua Waitangi în parc a fost cu adevărat dulce cu toți localnicii care ieșeau pentru unele kai uimitoare. 👌 ✨ Kawhia a fost primul nostru tabără pe călătoria noastră, și cu siguranță cel mai bun.

Vederea este uimitoare de la cele mai multe site-uri. Facilitățile sunt rustice Hooks lipsesc în toalete, robinete pulverizează apa peste tot. Numai în măsură să umezească o mână la un moment dat Băne supraîncărcate, BBQ-uri sunt murdare, inutilizabile. Bucătărie murdară. Nu mult în Kawhia. Simțit ca și cum am fost în filmul Deliverance. Cumpărați produse alimentare înainte de a ajunge acolo. Totul este închis luni. Proprietarul merge în jurul oferind pește ppl pe care l-a prins care este caiac frumos și gratuit. Viziunea este mare
