Vackert ställe, mycket tyst vid denna tid på året. Toaletter var inte den bästa men fortfarande användbar. rekommenderar starkt att göra hela 2,5hr promenad runt sjön från campingen.

Toaletter lite smutsig men inte stinkande på vintern. Vacker plats och nära rotorua. Vi använde vår camping pass så det var perfekt värt det för oss, idk om jag skulle vilja betala för det men

Beautiful spot, so the only reason I won’t give a negative review. Pay $18pp for a covered shelter and some of the worst toilets I have ever smelt!! Apparently the fee you pay goes towards volunteers “cleaning and maintaining” the area, but the toilets look and smell like they haven’t been touched in months!! 2-3 bars of 4G with 2degrees.

Lovely place for the night. The facilities (toilet) is very dirty and has a very unpleasant smell. I think you pay too much money for what you get. 18 dollars per person.

Mycket trevlig camping nära sjön. Vi kunde få en plats vid 4-5 PM i januari. Vänlig ranger som kommer att samla in avgifterna på kvällen (kontant eller kort). Du kan simma i sjön och det finns trevliga ankor. Toaletterna var inte alltför dåliga med handtvätt tillgängliga.

A really nice place, and so handy for access to Rotouroa BUT I arrived at 7pm and struggled to find a space due to day visitors parked in the camping area, badly parked campervans meant that large bays didn’t have enough space for arriving vans, the camp manager is on site so really should be able resolve this issue?

Great camping next to the lake, very peacefull environment. No running water. The toilets are closed vault toilets but were clean and not smelly when we visited. The camp manager came on the evening at ~7pm to do the "checkin", collecting payment and taxes. We used our doc campsite pass here, its not reservation on a first come first serve basis, and it was almost full on a weekday, make sure you arrive before 18:00

A nice little camp spot by the lake. The drop toilets were clean and there’s a drain for waste water. The camp manager was lovely and friendly. We arrived late on a Saturday night and still managed to get a space

Mycket trevligt ställe! Älskade utsikten och det fanns mer än tillräckligt med platser. Toaletterna var användbara och luktade inte (jag har sett bättre doc toaletter men också sämre sätt)

Bra utsikt över sjön. Toaletterna är avskyvärda.
