Short walk with one amazing waterfall at the end! We saw a beautiful rainbow arching over as the light was shining on the water
Really beautiful, the climb up was a bit tough ? for an unfit guy like me, but I made it in one piece.
I want to set things right, about the inaccurate comments below as I counted the steps CORRECTLY..There are exactly 290 steps up and 90 steps down in the following order: 220 Up, 90 down and again 70 steps up It’s about facts my friends
400 stairs. Goes up about 300 steps then down about 100, then in reverse on the way back. Easily done by 9 year old. We went after Torrential rain and it was magic. 1hr return or less if you are fit. Worth doing
Stunning waterfall & forest walk. Definitely recommend. But for moderate to fit walkers only due to the thigh-shaking 300 steps & steep incline (177metres of ascent). Allow 1hr round trip including view time. We did this in heavy rain and 80% was sheltered with non-slip steps all the way. Otherwise just an easy 5mins from car park is a bridge with views straight up to the falls.
Easy walk up to the falls, but lots of stairs. A viewing platform at the top that can get quite busy! About an hour return and there are a couple of other walks to do here as well. Lots of parking, and there are toilets
Really nice waterfall fairly big, you can see it from the start of the trail! 1h return very worth it. It can get very busy as it’s the most popular spot through Arthur’s Pass.
Nice easy walk. Definitely bring a jacket because you will get wet from the falls
Definitely worth the never ending steps to climb. Got soaking wet from the spray. What a natural spectacle this waterfall.
Beautiful and easy track, can do it in about 40min return. Great waterfall and bridges
