2 freedom campingplatser nära stadens centrum, tillgänglig för parkering från 8pm-8am (någon kom för att kolla oss precis passerade 8pm). Tillgång till ren gratis toaletter, dricksvatten, picknickbord och en BBQ (2$ mynt krävs).

Yea, some pricks always park here outside the hours so it's hard outside of winter, go call DOC to give them a fine if you feel like it. ALSO! Hanmer amenity area is also for not certified vehicles if you are looking for a place, currently incorrectly marked as self contained only in campermate. Emailed DOC who said its only the area 500m further up the road that is self contained only as toilets aren't close even though the road seems to be currently closed to go further up.

Lovely place. Only 2 spaces. Me and my wife waited in a normal car park just next to them from 12pm, went to the pools at 6pm. When we came back around 7pm to park our van, it was full. It pissed us off that we waited so long. You are only allowed to park there from 8pm to 8am.

Great spot in a small quiet & dark carpark, I got there a little after 8pm and there was one spot left. Good little toilet cubicle with clean toilets and bins, and it is right next to a 24/7 laundromat, that has 2 powerpoint outlets! I popped on my laundry & charged up my devices while waiting. Spot is a 5 minute walk from everything! Loved it here! One of the better camp sites i’ve stayed in, despite it being away from nature.

NON SELF CONTAINED - du kan bo på Hanmer DOC Base & Car Park incl övernattning. jag pratade med en kille från DOC och han skickade mig precis till den platsen.

Lyckades få den andra platsen men jag föreställer mig att dessa ofta fyller omedelbart. Vi hade tur på en lugn veckodag efter skollovet slutade. Det är i parkeringen för en härlig liten park med toaletter. Lätt promenad till restauranger etc. i Hanmer Springs.

Limited turning space and not even close to level, council also warned of possible fines if parking here before 8pm. Take your business elsewhere and head to the river reserve instead.

Anlände vid 7 och de 2 platserna togs redan av självhäftande ... detta är verkligen irriterande eftersom detta är den enda fria lägret tillgängliga för icke-självhäftande i staden.. PLS Självhäftande PARK INTE HÄR du har många alternativ i och runt staden !
