Bara några utrymmen men lyckligtvis fick en runt 4pm. Gratis och vacker utsikt över stranden och snöiga berg. Tyst område och lätt promenad till butiker och restauranger. Toaletter är ca 5 min promenad bort men ta hand om på natten som inga gatubelysning från denna Carpark till dem! Du måste också lämna utrymme vid 7am!

Bra ställe för självbehållna lastbilar, det är vackert, precis på stranden. Kan bli lite vindigt, men värt det för utsikten.

Vi anlände vid 9 p.m. och det fanns fortfarande platser. tyst, direkt utsikt över soluppgången. 5 minuter från toaletten

Such a nice camping spot! You can park right in front of the sea, the walk to the bathrooms takes two minutes, they’re clean and nice and right in the heart of the town.

You can’t camp here if your van has toilet under the bed. Literally the toilet has to be fully accessible. 4 cars got fine the night I was there hut again every time I come I see converted cars camping there that don’t comply with requirements even though they are so strict here kn Kaikoura and check almost every night

Good place. Right in front of the beach. We saw the beautiful sunrise on the beach. This place is within walking distance to many restaurants and shops :)

Great spot. Good phone signal and quiet at night. Only downside is the toilets are a good 200m walk away into town.

Vackert ställe vid havet! Uppträdde vid 12:30 och alla utrymmen togs, men några bara med bilar - när de lämnade vi kunde få en plats runt 1:30. Ingen vakt kom förbi vid något tillfälle, men vi och alla andra campare lämnade vid 7am.

I don't know why the previous comment said camping wasn't allowed; it is, and there are six spots. Excellent location, right next to the beach, toilets not far away, very clean. There's an evening check for certification and a reminder to leave by 7:00 AM the next morning.
