Förmodligen kan du camping på någon Caroline Bay parkering som säger 9pm-9am och betala 20 NZD via app. Toaletterna är okej, stora bytesrum. Efter 9am är en stor gratis parkeringsplats. Bästa delen om det där pingvinerna. Rekommenderar öronproppar eftersom hamnen är bullrig och de arbetar hela natten.

Platsen är bra, direkt vid parken och stranden. 20$ för de något föråldrade faciliteterna är lite mycket, men är rena. Efter gryningen kan man titta på de blå penguinerna. Men var medveten om att lämna vid 9am, som någon kontrollerar och beställer en lastbil hemskt!

Nice little parking lot. Some noise early in the evening but it went away as the night went on. Stayed here to look at penguins and it was totally worth it. Bathrooms aren't great, but it gets the job done. Make sure you're out by 9am.

Facilities are a bit dated but everything is super clean. The kitchen is well equipped - there is even an airfryer! :) owners are very friendly and helpful, as well as the long-term residents.

Inexpensive option . Public toilets and trailer dump station with clean water to refill the trailer. Loud and bright as next to working port

Bra liten plats! Toaletter mycket nära, super nära stranden och pingvin tittar plats som skymning. Vi såg pingviner! Super nära en fantastisk park om du har barn med en gratis utomhus BBQ i parken. Vi gick för en simning och bastu på den lokala nöjescentret i närheten som hade en 50m utomhuspool. Slutade stanna på denna plats en andra natt - såg recensioner om att detta är en bullrig plats men inte hittade det alls. De har en park körs på lördag morgon!

the public shower is just a shower outside the dressing room. The kind you only use to remove sand from your body before getting into the car. A quick shower with a bathing suit is possible but not a proper shower.

Lots of space and very close to where the blue penguins have their nest and the beautiful beach, but also right next to the harbour where work is going on 24/7 and we could hear the sight throughout the night.

Perfect place for one night to see the penguins. More or less clean toilet but with toilet paper and soap. Difficult to find “Caroline Bay” to pay for in the app (you have to swipe).

Okay for one night, unless you're sensitive to noise. Parking costs $20 per vehicle. We heard the noise of the port with the large container ships all night. The restrooms are fairly clean. The plus is that it's very close to Blue Penguin Beach.
