Underbart om du har en hund. Som hundparken är stor. Nära en rundtur så få trafroc. Buller men ita. Inte dålig Betong parkering. Så bra när andra platser är alla boggy och våt

Inga skyltar för husvagnar, förutom skyltar som påminde folk om att låsa sina bilar och gömma sina ägodelar. Också i ett tungt industrialiserat område. Vi stannade inte. Istället kom vi till Clive-platsen bredvid floden, som var härlig och hade gott om utrymme.

Mycket öppet som den 25 augusti. Perfekt ställe om du gillar en nybryggd kaffe eller snälla din hund gå av ledningen.

IMPORTANT !! Due to new road layout the directions given when travelling from Naper are very confusing. Travelling on Pakowhai Road - at the roundabout with Te Ara Kahikatea Road continue around the roundabout to the right. Gateway to park is on your left.

Was nice in the day to come and walk around the park here with some of the dog walkers. Once it got dark we were the only camper here. Some cars came playing loud music and doing donuts but left quite early. Most worryingly a couple of cars came in the night and checked out our van driving slowly by with their headlights on us. There is a camera with some sort of alarm on it that gets triggered... This only led to more anxiety as the alarm would go off even when no one appeared to be there! We moved on to another site and I would advise to go to the freedom camp spots on the seafront; definitely worth the 10min drive out of town.

Great little spot outside of town; quiet & secure. However be mindful if you’re staying on a weekend there’s a lot of locals arriving in cars to walk their dogs early in the morning

Great little spot easily accessible, some background noise from road but nothing too noticeable, CCTV monitored 24hours so perfectly safe, no toilet in car park however one can be found on the loop track around the beautiful park.

Open when I arrived. Nice for a one/two night stay. Local dog walkers I met and talked to were fantastic. Felt completely safe.
