Trouble with this spot is that there are only 9 spaces and you can only book in from 8pm. We first arrived at 6pm and all spots were taken except 1 - if you like to play by the rules you would have no chance here its just too popular

Reason for the rules & time restrictions is it’s very frustrating for locals trying to actually use the events centre - getting their kids to afterschool sports etc. and struggling to find a park as there are way too many campers there outside of the designated times, some clearly not self contained & using the grounds like a campground (which it’s not). The events centre is a very busy and well used community facility, so lucky that there are 9x carparks available for overnight camping.

De flesta vagnar anländer tidigt, så om du vill vara inom reglerna hittar du inte en plats, men om du planerar att anlända tidigt riskerar du att få en böter ... Det är synd, med tanke på att det är omöjligt att hitta en plats i staden eftersom allt tas före lunchtid.

Förmodligen ingen följer reglerna - du borde anlända efter 8pm men alla är camping här timmar innan, så när du vill följa reglerna och anlända exakt vid 8pm, har du ingen chans att få någon plats. Det finns också människor camping utan självkörande fordon. Vi anlände vid 8pm och trodde att några bilar skulle lämna så vi var på väg att vänta vi frågade dem om de skulle lämna men vi fick höra att de stannade.

Good place just outside the city. Showers and wifi inside the building (wifi is free). Just have to be early to get a spot. The city officials comes to check the parking lot pretty early in the morning, so watch out if you park in the regular parking lot.
