Great views but only place for 4-5 campers. Be careful not parking 30cm outside the signals, they're going to find you and fine you, even at 2:30 am. 400$NZ specificaly.

Ser väldigt trevligt ut men var försiktig de flesta människor verkar inte checka in och det är besvikande att köra så långt ut ur vägen bara för att hitta inga fläckar kvar - och med bara tre platser tillgängliga, lycka till.

Absolut underbar plats men fyller upp vägen före 6pm, vi kom dit vid 5 på den första dagen och de 3 utrymmena togs så vi gick tidigare nästa dag.

Systemet som berättar om utrymmen är tillgängliga fungerar inte; tyvärr gick jag och de var alla tagna. platsen ser mycket trevlig ut, men jag rekommenderar att gå tidigt för att få en plats.

Mycket trevligt ställe på sjön. Super utsikt, vacker soluppgång.- och solnedgång. Tyvärr finns det bara 3 platser. Vi hade tur att få en. Bokningssystemet är inte riktigt mogen. Så det är vettigt att inte komma så sent. I augusti nu förmodligen inga problem. Ingen toalett i närheten!!!

Vackert ställe men bara tre platser.Och som andra redan har nämnt, människor anländer för tidigt för att boka sina platser utan att checka in.

People do not respect the 6pm arrival time. Do a drive by earlier 5:30-5:45 and check for campers. If those campers are there at 6pm call the council on +64 3 443 7243 and report them. $400 fine for not adhering to the rules.

Do NOT waste your time going here. Even though the online status will say all 3 locations are available, you will show up and all spots will be taken by small vans that may or may not be self contained. Also, there is no reason for this campsite to only be 3 spots. There is a ton of room in the area.

There is a public bathroom at 600 meters. At 21 hs a private truck came to the screams and badly spoken to throw out those who were outside the 3 designated places.

It is meant to be for self contained vans but gets hugged by small vans with a self contained sticker on them which are not self contained well before the check in time and council does nothing about it. Don’t waste your time.
