Ett riktigt coolt ställe att bo!! Vi parkerade i 2 nätter precis på klippan och hade allt för oss själva. Du kan gå ner till stranden och kolla in grottorna som är nästa nivå! Mycket vänliga lokalbefolkningen och ganska fiskarnas gemenskap, rida runt på sina quadcyklar och dra i sina nät. Det är vindigt men det spelar ingen roll som platsen ersätter vinden. Du kan ha hundar här också. Vi njöt av vår vistelse och skulle definitivt återvända 😊

Cave beach is destroyed by cyclone gabrielle. But beautiful little caves are accessable via long beach during low tide.

Cave Beach was absolutely unreal. Have lived in NZ 28 years and this is up there with a favorite for me, especially at sunset.

Wonderful place ! Surely one of our favorites on the North Island. Black sand beach with lots of cellars in the cliffs. Do not hesitate to walk along the beach to the east, it's the most beautiful! As a previous comment, another version of Cathedral Cove in much wilder and much less tourists. It's definitely worth it!

Very nice place to go for a walk on the beach. Black sand and cave dug by the sea !! nice and very few people. Possibility to sleep on the spot!
