Trevligt ställe att tillbringa natten! Lite bullriga när vi anländer runt 4pm men sedan var tyst.

The spot looks different to the pictures. It's more a kind of a roundabout close to the mainroad. UnfortunatelyI can't upload any photos but if you check on google maps you will see. The road was a bit busy during the day but quiet in the night. Toilet were very dirty. Only 4 spots available. But nice grass, old treea ans picnic areas available.

Great place to stay for the night. Only room for 4-5 vans (if people park properly). We were the first to get there at 5 and it filled up quickly. Some people stayed in the parking lot not in the designated spots and didn’t seem to have a problem. Very nice river right next to it, great for swimming. One bathroom which was in fine condition. Beautiful grassy lawn, big trees, bird song, picnic tables. We were very happy to have found this spot.

Bra ställe. bara se upp, bara slots på höger sida är för självinnehåll. Ranger var där vid 7 am.

Detta är en vacker frihet plats precis vid en ren flod och en pub. Det finns en mycket ren, väl underhållen toalett. Frihet platsen kan glatt passa 4 medelstora vagnar / husvagnar eller 5 mindre. Vi anlände i mitten av veckan 4pm och det fanns plats för 1 mer van som togs en timme senare och sedan vid 4 fordon det fylldes.

Vi anlände runt 18:00 på fredag (även en helgdag) och det fanns fortfarande utrymme för cirka 3 fler vans. Badrummet är rent. Det finns inget vatten. Floden är trevlig och det finns ett stort gräsområde för att hänga ut. Det var tyst på natten.

Official space is for just 5-6 smaller vans crammed in side-by-side. Probably need to be early to claim one. We missed out (6pm Tuesday early feb). Looks like a nice good spot with a river swim and pub nearby. Nothing else free nearby: must go to Whitianga, or pay ~$85 for an unpowered site at either Hahei Resort campground or Hot Water beach paid camps.

Vår första frihet campingupplevelse och det var en bra plats! Floden var bra för att simma, puben över bron var riktigt bra och dropptoaletterna var inte stötande alls.

Nice place with the river and picnic tables. There is a toilet, but it smells really, really bad. Lots of cars and truck stopping by to use the toilet in the evening, but calm at night.
