Privat plats, lugn och utan ljus. Det kan vara lite skrämmande på natten. Stannade 1 natt och det fanns bara 1 van. Det är bara mitt i ingenstans och ganska långt från en stad.

Inga toaletter, stanna på Waihaha DOC gratis camping längs vägen istället - toaletter, matlagningsområde och diskbänk för att tvätta disken, plus massor av utrymme.

Vi stannade över en natt och det var mycket tyst. Följ skyltarna för kraftverket och du kommer att hitta det inga problem.

Very quiet peacefully spot for a night's stopover. Directions and GPS cordinates not quite right. Instead of driving straight ahead when you get to the last intersection via towards the right, sign says Rangipo Power Station

Quiet it feels good to be alone on a spot. With snow! :-)

This site is 500 Mtrs or so past the main campground but not marked well. After passing the main signposted camp area beside the stream, turn left into a road that stops at a power station. There seem to be a few holes in the forest right next to the stream. Wonderful clear water. Shade and sun where required .
