Lägret är vackert på en solig dag - floden passerar, bra utsikt över snöiga berg. Värt 11km körning från huvudvägen, den sista 1km av grusväg var inte dålig. Inga faciliteter, bara naturen runt - vi gjorde en liten eld med driftträ.

Trevligt ställe men inga toaletter.

Om du är från USA och brukade boondocking / dispersed camping, denna plats är perfekt. Det fanns inga toaletter eller soptunnor men det fanns lugn och ro och en härlig flod. Vi gick hit under dagen för att se platsen och ta en dopp i floden och ångrade inte camping här.

Only self contained campers that are certified. No toilets also no signs with information. Don’t camp on the river as the water rises when raining

Two gravel areas by the river, at risk of flooding. It rained a lot while I was there yesterday and there was no issue but was warned by the nice woman who came to check the self contained sticker that the water could rush in very quickly. No amenities at site (no water, toilet, trash). River looked like it could be nice but not in rainy weather. Really good public toilets in Whataroa, 12 min drive away.

This is just a gravel parking space without toilets, bins or signs indicating that this is indeed a campsite.

Nice spot by the river and good view of mountains. No phone reception, bins or toilets. Toilets are 10 min drive in town. Plenty of space. Gravel drive but nothing awful.
