Nice spot to stop. Good road in. A km or 2 of spots to camp. Ablution block & shelters at the boat ramp. Yes, there are ants. Tinny ones. Yes, there is a slight smell but not too unpleasant when we were here. I think it comes from the Lagoon next to the river Enjoy

Maybe due to flooding, can’t get through to the toilet and picnic table ? the area is still flooded Only camped at the entrance of this place

Good solid ground for driving on but still soft and sandy under foot. We got a great spot by the river with easy access to it, good for launching the canoe. The drop toilets are ok and have runing water in the hand basin and soap too. There is no fire wood collection aloud here so we suggest bringing your own. Overall it was a nice spot to stay with river views and the lagoon just behind us

No camping at the picnic ground but plenty of camping spots along the river past the boat ramp. No mosquitoes or flies but was super windy so that may have kept them away.

Lovely spot, very quiet and peaceful. Right by the river has a lots of spots along the the edge the river. And if you are lucky you might meet some lizards crossing the dirt road!

Great spot, does get busy though. Been here several times and never disappointed. Right on river to drop the kayak in, amazing sun rise and sun sets.

Great rest area, quite hard ground for a tent though. But super sunsets and views. Rope swings on some trees and lush river for swimming.
