ดีกว่าการทัวร์ใด ๆ ที่จ่ายเงิน! คุณต้องเดินเท้าบู้ทส์ลึกผ่านน้ําเพื่อดู worms ที่ดีที่สุด แต่ก็คุ้มค่ามาก เราไปเท้าบู้ทส์และดี แต่ก็เลื่อน!

Just wow! You have to go through a steam in the cave, but it's like 5-10 cm deep, so you should be fine in your trekking shoes. You'll know when you've arrived to 'the cave'. We stayed here for several minutes without any light and the whole cave went from a few hundred to many thousands of glow worms and it was so beautiful. For me, it's the best glow worms in New Zealand, much better than the paid touristy ones.. On the other hand since it's free and there's no one to tell all the visors not to touch anything all the stalactites in the reach are damaged. Still one of the best experiences in this country so far.

Note - Shower broken. Free glow worm caves. A little slippy and you will get wet feet but so worth it. From the car park it’s only a 30 second - 1 minute walk to the caves. When you go in, head left. You won’t be disappointed!

Nice stop at the cave, we didn’t have any special shows and didn’t want to get ours wet so we walked though the cave barefoot. A bit painful for sensitive feet but worth it. You will easily find the entrance thanks to a white panel, we didn’t see it at first so we went to the walk thinking it would bring us to the caves. My advice, DO NOT go for this walk after a rainy day, it was sooo slippery even with hiking shoes, and really muddy.

Worth the detour. So pretty! Everyone says to bring shoes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy, but we just went in bare foot and it was fine. Some small rocks might hurt a little for sensitive feet. Took our 6yr old through too.

My 7 year old loves it. It is dark and scary in the cave, but glowworms are everywhere only 100 meter from the opening.

Super cool cave with a lot of fireflies. May not keep up with Waitomo Caves but impressive nonetheless. Make sure to wear waterproof shoes and bring a flashlight so you can explore the cave, it's worth it. Make sure you explore the cave at night so they can see the fireflies too. We explored the cave in the evening and the next morning and there were many more fireflies at night than during the day (there are only a few spots there).
