Beautiful spot to stretch your legs. I’m laughing at some of the ludicrous comments about the “mirror” being ruined by the wildlife. What is the world coming to when wildlife that lives there ruins your photo?! *eyeroll* Brown trout and New Zealand’s smallest & only diving duck, the scaup/pāpango were enjoying the water today.

Short walk to what must be a more beautiful place on a non-windy day. When we went the wind caused ripples on the lakes, meaning they weren’t ‘mirror like’.

Cute ducks enjoying a swim on one end of the walk, but on the other end there were perfect reflections. If you're really lucky there will be a coffee van there too.

Must stop, amazing view

Good for a quick stop. Don’t expect much of a mirror if windy though!

5 min stop, pretty path. No reflection when there is wind and stupid ducks

5 minutes stop, cool pictures and keep on driving :)

A series of ponds that werent particularly reflective given the presence of ducks on the water and the proximity of the viewing platform. Stretch your legs by all means.
