All by ourselves today, great!

Very nice and the water was hot. Small path that sinks into the forest at the edge of the paved road. Be careful not to put your head under water !!

Within a 2min walking distance from the Lady K geyser, which I'm told is $16 and is not blowing water as hard as it was in November, you arrive at an oasis. If you come during the 10am showing of the geyser I can assure you, you will not be interrupted. With the water temp at about 42 Celsius I would recommend sandals (or something you don't mind getting wet). Also sandals help with stepping over rocks ?. Folks enjoy and relax this hidden gem while you can and obviously be vigilant for those pesky thieves. P.S I'm still alone here, don't bother me.

We went here after the hot’n’cool and it was nice to see even though we preferred the other site to swim. Just put in our feet which was still super nice though!

Amazing! Went here today! We were the only people there! Very hot near the water fall, put depends on your feet I could walk under my partner could not lol! Better directions; follow signs to Wai-o-tapu before you get there you will see road & have a sign next to pointing to Wai-o-tape the road is called the avenue, on the left, it will say road closed, it's not. You will see the large opening on the way down. Drive to the bottom of the road you will see a small closed ticked booth, park there & walk back up into the opening then you can't miss it

Similarly to Kerosen Creek the information centres do not advise going due to cross-infection and robberies. It's all relative, don't go there at night and you won't be as vulnerable to being robbed. As for cross-infection it's crossed through the nasal parts so don't put your head under. This place is a real hidden gem, you would miss it if you didn't know. Follow the arrows to the Geyser (which is man made not natural) then look for the pathway into the Forrest - offer there's cars already there. In the winter it's usually pretty empty!

These pools are a bit muddy and are only thigh high but are less well known that Kerosene Creek and Waiotapu Stream, as they are harder to find.

Its not the right place! I burned my foot with the mud.....
