Being in the vicinity is definitely worth a stop.

Approximately 1750 years old tree to find good, great forest, fallen tree no problem, other fallen tree great cave to take pictures!

If you’re passing by it is definitely worth a stop! Magnificent tree. The informative sign is very worn and hard to read though.

Little nice break. Forest and trees that impose respect!

The only HUGE thing was the time waste. Track is not even marked to make easier not to get lost in the middle of the forest. Could't get to the final because of a big fallen tree blocking the track (when I passed it, there was no more tracks to follow).

The path itself is great and the tree is lovely

Pleasant walk in a beautiful forest. The big Totara at the end is worth a visit if you go by! Besides, there is a lot of Tui!

Amazing walk through beautiful forest, multiple big trees with big bertha at the end. Don't miss it!
