The spot looks different to the pictures. It's more a kind of a roundabout close to the mainroad. UnfortunatelyI can't upload any photos but if you check on google maps you will see. The road was a bit busy during the day but quiet in the night. Toilet were very dirty. Only 4 spots available. But nice grass, old treea ans picnic areas available.

Great place to stay for the night. Only room for 4-5 vans (if people park properly). We were the first to get there at 5 and it filled up quickly. Some people stayed in the parking lot not in the designated spots and didn’t seem to have a problem. Very nice river right next to it, great for swimming. One bathroom which was in fine condition. Beautiful grassy lawn, big trees, bird song, picnic tables. We were very happy to have found this spot.

Bu, temiz bir nehir ve bir barın hemen yanında harika bir özgürlük noktasıdır. Çok temiz, iyi bakımlı bir tuvalet var. Özgürlük noktası, 4 orta büyüklükteki van/kamper veya 5 daha küçük olanı mutlu bir şekilde yerleştirebilir. Hafta ortası saat 4'e geldik ve bir saat sonra alınan ve 4 araçta doldurulan 1 van için yer vardı.

Cuma günü saat 18:00 civarında geldik (ayrıca bir tatil) ve hala yaklaşık 3 daha vans için yer vardı. banyo temiz. su yok. nehir güzel ve dışarı çıkmak için büyük bir çim alanı var. gece sessizdi.

Official space is for just 5-6 smaller vans crammed in side-by-side. Probably need to be early to claim one. We missed out (6pm Tuesday early feb). Looks like a nice good spot with a river swim and pub nearby. Nothing else free nearby: must go to Whitianga, or pay ~$85 for an unpowered site at either Hahei Resort campground or Hot Water beach paid camps.

Nice place with the river and picnic tables. There is a toilet, but it smells really, really bad. Lots of cars and truck stopping by to use the toilet in the evening, but calm at night.

Really nice place to stay! There is no water, but at least there is a toilet.
