Khoảng 1 giờ lái xe từ núi Somers Village với 40 phút đường sỏi (một đường sỏi khá tốt). Từ bãi đậu xe là 20 phút đi bộ trên mặt đất phẳng và sau đó 20 phút lên núi.

Very long gravel road but in the end we find a magnificent landscape and especially edoras that we recognize at first glance! One of my favorite LOTR filming locations

Road is open now. Gavel road is pretty bad at few points and there is one big ford. Be careful specially after rainy day

There are 24km gravel road, the 10km to Lake Clearwater are good passable but the rest is pretty bad: /

Best place in New Zealand, just amazingly beautiful area. Camped in the parking lot because we arrived late. But please only self-contained, take your trash with you. One must take care of this indescribably beautiful landscape!
