One of the most beautiful tracks on both islands. There are various routes to choose from. The tracks are easy—they mostly follow contour lines, with gentle ascents and descents and no steep slopes. I really enjoyed them, with a few mini steps, some river crossings, and a short stretch along railroad tracks, which was also fun. There are signs with information about the local mine. I recommend stopping here, we were completely alone in the parking lot. You can sleep in the parking lot - SC only

Một số vỉa hè từ dễ dàng đến trung bình khó khăn. Nhận bản đồ từ trung tâm thông tin Te Aroha đầu tiên. Dòng chảy rõ ràng ở bãi đậu xe. Dấu pin còn sót lại ở bãi đậu xe. Theo dõi các con đường đến đường sắt, đường hầm & nghiêng. Hoàn hảo cho các gia đình có trẻ nhỏ hơn. Carpark có thể không an toàn để cắm trại vào ban đêm khi những con chó đôi khi ra ngoài chơi.

We went hiking for 2 hours. Nice if you have the time but not a must do of the region in my opinion. The best part was the one that runs along the old rails. No particular difficulty.

Not many comments so I'll add one. Just did it today, it was definitely worth going ! many tracks available for all levels, we didn't go all the way to the top but still did 2 hours. And all along the way there are little mining things (rails, caves, machines) to enjoy

Native bush walks with a variety tracks taking as long or as short as time available. Stout shoes needed.Historical gold mines from 1881 & the rail lines & steep inclines (3) to explore. Definitely worth a look.
