Really lovely site, toilets were clean, and there was a great sink and electric barbecue. Stayed for 2 nights, and slept well with the sounds of the ocean. I would have been happy to pay the fee, but no one came to collect. According to the council website it's $20 per night https://www.mackay.qld.gov.au/Parks-and-facilities/Ball-Bay-Camping-Ground-Park

Amazing location right on the beach

Open 24 hours with basic facilities such as toilets. It’s only about 10 minutes from Cape Hillsborough. Simple, quiet, and perfectly located for exploring the area.
