They no longer do unpowered sites. He blamed previous campers for using power in laundry & unplugging things, haha... He said all powered now, but thanks to the Covid requirements & Bushfire rules it means that you can’t get a booking after 5pm as they have to report to CFS at 5pm apparently, and kitchen was closed at 6:30pm unless they have a booking.
The staff member was flustered at check in and came across as rude. Facilities are ramshackle - kitchen old and looks like a bus station. Toilets are old, but clean BUT shower was hot/cold. Very overpriced for what you get - I won't stay here again (I paid for an unpowered site).
Very friendly welcome. Very rudimentary premises but maintained properly. 5 minutes walk from the Gorge animal reserve (large and good number of animals including Koalas that you can take in your arms depending on the time - 11:30 am-1:30pm & 3:30 pm- for a small photo session, and kangaroos that come eat in your hands ($ 2.50 a bag of seeds), Lack of networks and wifi.Accessible, gourmet and very good restaurant. We recommend ??
Hired a cabin but when we went to get in someone was already asleep in it. When we told the managers they just said 'oh yeah i know who that was'. Didn't care. They were so rude we wont be back
Quiet place to stay. Kitchen is a bit old and has a weird smell. Clean toilets. We paid 25 dollars a night for an unpowered site and then realized it said 20 on their card, but we were gone by that time. Also, unpowered sites are far from facilities (toilets at least).
Good camping.Facilities are okay but old. Hard to get hot shower.
Old toilet block, but clean. The kitchen is well equipped but not nice at all. Good park for wildlife and surroundings. Easy check in.
Friendly staff, fast and uncomplicated check in without a reservation. Showers have no shower head indeed but staff gave instructions on how to operate them during check in and it was fine. Amenities are old but clean. We had a large powered site for 30$ which was adequate considered the closeness to Adelaide. The park is kept very natural with lots of trees. It is located right across the street from Gorge Wildlife Park.
Crazy shower unstable , old kitchen even there is anything u need, field is not so stable? It’s not worthy for $30 a night .
Staff very friendly but definitely not worth it as it's overpriced with 30$ for a powered site 2A. Showers have no shower head and turn hot and cold while you shower.
