Lovely campground on the river with many short walks to the beach. It was easy to launch a kayak and enjoy the views and birds.

Thank you so much CamperMate! Without this app we would have stayed at Browns Beach with cars whipping past on the adjacent road. Instead we stayed in Bay 6 Chapman River campsite and it was fantastic. Loved it. River right there, spacious private campsite, peaceful, heaps of birds including superb fairy wrens who hopped up onto our table and plates after we’d finished eating to check out the possibilities! The one (long-drop) toilet block is clean but quite a walk from the campsite. The new bridge over the river is incredible. Highly recommend.

This one is actually Chapman river campground. Highly recommend. Spots right on the river with the cleanest drop toilets - zero smell. Short walk to beach. If you have a van try and get spot 6 or 7. BW.

Beautiful camping spots right on the river. One of the best I have ever seen. Private and large spots. Unfortunately both camping spots were full so we had to stay in the overflow area, we got here very late tho, at 8pm so would recommend booking in advance.

I stayed at Chapman river campground. Awesome campground close to the water and heaps of birds. Very secluded spots and droptoilet close by

All the campsite are along the river. Some of them with mud or very small. You need to book online. You can find a picnic table at the end of the road and a shade. Disposable Toilets are also available along the camp. Protected from the wind. You need to collect your wood before.
