Great bay, you can park two meters from the water (2WD) and were lucky that there was only one other vehicle there. Swimming is possible, but the entrance is very shallow and a bit rocky. Swimming shoes recommended. We were there on a Sunday and couldn't book by phone. We parked ourselves without booking in advance and paid in the Visitor Center in Denham the next morning. Wasn't a problem. Be careful with 2WD - there are also areas with very soft sand, so check the final parking space in advance.

Least spectacular campground of the four in this area. The spots are pretty close together, views are great though. Great spot for swimming, as the water is deeper. No facilities, take your rubbish with you, also toilet paper!! You have to book your spot at the visitor Center in Denham, via email (including credit card details) or phone (only Telstra) You can only book your spot for the same day and can only stay for one night, so you have to switch between the four different campgrounds if you want to stay for a couple of days. We stayed for 6 nights and switching back and forth to the different sites was no problem at all

Beautiful spot (just like the three other permit required spots), amazing sunset, amazing sunrise! A few spots right at the waters edge (be careful with the tides though!). 2WD accessible, but make sure to check for loose sand before you drive into your spot! No facilities, so make sure to take all your rubbish (including toilet paper!) with you. The Ranger comes in every morning to check permits (and have a chat) so make sure you register at the discovery center in Denham or by calling between their opening hours.

Amazing spot. We visited with 2WD. Amazing view on the water. No facilities. Call the visitor centre in Denhem to reserve your spot.

Great spot! 2WD accessible. Beautiful sunset & never seen so many stars! Arrived 5pm on Friday and had the whole place to ourselves. Tried to pay for permit via phone but reception was so poor and hard to hear, she said to just come into Denham in the morning to pay. No ranger came by. It was SUPER windy at night, although being in a campervan it didnt affect our stay.

Beautiful sunset, about 5 dolphins were swimming around as the sun went down. No facilities and a bumpy road but good enough for our campervan must ring the ranger in Denham first and get a permit to stay which is $15. Over priced but the cheapest option in the area

4 different camping: -goulet bluff -whalebone bay -fowlers camp -eagle bluff (In that order from south to north) You need a permit to camp that you can obtain in Dunham or you can call them from the camping, you will find the phone number straight in the camping (15$) Beautiful places on the beaches !
