One of the nicest campsites I have been in nz. Next to the beach but plenty of tress so wind will not be a problem. There are picnic tables to use and toilets were very clean. Just one thing to consider: high tide cab increase the river water level. Some tables (the furtherst from the beach) can get flooded! So be careful where you park to sleep and were you leave your stuff/chairs. Phone signal 5G. Great spot to see the sunset too!

Has a lot of space and toilets are clean and open all night. Unfortunately we had some young people partying and having loud music

Great large campsite with a beautiful pebble beach. Clean toilets, cold outdoor shower. We felt very comfortable.

We drove into the campsite and immediately felt uneasy. The locals live in parked buses and containers. Nothing inherently wrong with that, but we didn't feel safe. We didn't feel entirely welcome. There were also many other campers there. The toilets, however, were very clean!

10/10 Campsite nice Area, clean Toilettes, Cold Outdoor Shower, Plenty of Space, phone signal is ok and drinking fountain + it is possible to fill up your watertank. A few people who live here in there tents but no problem with them.

Nice spot next to the beach. Clean toilets. Quite a few cars coming in and out of the car park area during the night, so just stay further back into the campsite if you want a quiet sleep.
