Positive spot, as it is located 1 min walk from the entrance of the free basements with a free exploration, but full of mosquitoes with out-of-service toilets.

Toilets weren’t that clean but it’s poor behaviour by those camping there to blame. There is plenty of space to park the caves are great and there is a nice 2 km bush walk. lots of mosquitos at night though.

Good place to stay one night. Toilet open 24/7, not the clients, not the dirtiest with paper toilet but not drinking water. Great environment and so near to the caves.

One of our fave spots! Cave is so fun to explore and the most amazing glow worm cavern (which you don’t have to pay for!) Toilets were badly maintained both times we stayed, but we have seen worse and these were flushing, so it didn’t smell too bad! A few grass strips for tents, but don’t go past the bollards. We got consistent 4G service with 2degrees. If going to the caves, wear shorts or pants you can roll up. We went in crocs and had no issues, just watch for eels in the river!

Stayed there late December and unfortunately the toilets were absolutely gross, one was clogged and it looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for a while. Such a shame because this is such a beautiful spot - wonderful nature and caves! You can get phone signal if you walk a bit further up the road.

SELF-CONTAINED VEHICLES, WHY ARE YOU OCCUPYING THIS SITE WHEN YOU HAVE HUNDREDS OF PLACES WHERE YOU CAN STAY DURING THE NIGHT?!?!?!?!? This site is one of the few free camp sites for non-self-contained cars but we can’t stay here, because the SC vehicles think it’s a good idea to occupy the parking lot.

Clean toilets. Plenty of space for at least 10 vehicles. Cell service is only available at the entrance to the parking lot. Great for seeing the glowworms in the cave 400 meters from the campsite; there's a sign at the forest entrance.

Gravel parking lot. Toilets are clean but the smell is not too nice... We went around 20.00 to the caves and it was absolutely fantastic. Take some watershoes with since you have to get through some water to go further into the caves. The gravel road towards the parking lot is in good condition.

A very beautiful, quiet spot close to the caves. However, the internet reception is very poor. Toilets are available, but the shower doesn't work. For visiting the caves, it's best to wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet. Many parts of the cave can only be reached by wading through water that can be knee-deep. But if you make it through, you'll be rewarded with a fantastic sight: glowworms ;-)

Basic free camp with no real views but definitely in the middle of nowhere so good star viewing and nice location to the caves. Everyone parks everywhere in the parking lot and it wasn’t a problem. Very dirty bathrooms with more bugs than usual. There was a methhead with a large caravan parked near us and he had visitors and made erratic sounds all night keeping us up worried for our safety. Would not really recommend as he looked like he was there for a long time.
