Excellent trek, did this whole loop alone in 1.5 hours from car park. Both waterfalls were stunning!! If you’re courageous, hop across the rocks at the large waterfall for a spectacular view. Wear your wellies or boots you don’t mind getting mucked.
My experience: got there, met a lovely french couple. "Just an hour to the waterfalls" , said the guy named Tom "but you need boots." Put my hiking shoes on and went, knowing It was already getting late. Arrived at the waterfall - great, powerful space! Chose to take the route via the road back. Now it got really late... And dark. It was magical..., the moon shining in at times, little light-insects (not sure how they are called) and a overall positive mood. But I found myself slipping, searching for the way, going very slow, not knowing where to step and where to go. When suddendly the dense plants parted and the gravel road appeared I ran out and just layed on the ground for a good while, starring up to the moon. I am still impressed of how I managed to get trough that. I had angelic support, that I'm sure of. Arrived at 10:40, now ill go to sleep in the back of my car. Cheers :)
Lost my new raybans here somewhere. If anyone finds them please let me know! 0212513112
This Hike was sick!! Beautifully untamed and muddy- just like hiking should be. Absolutely loved it and the views of the Waterfall were well worth it. Enjoy ??

The path is really muddy, I was glad that I put on my rubber boots. The path itself was also overgrown and not well maintained. For the restricted view of the waterfalls, I would personally say that it's not really worth it.
Accidentally left my walking boots here today in the picnic area car park (Solomon’s, size6) long shot but if anyone picked them up would love to get them back!! 021 085 41790 thank you!
Beautiful walk. Definitely recommend as long as you are willing to clean your shoes. Very muddy.
I cannot recommend this track. The waterfalls are nice, both of them, BUT there are still 8 trees on the path and you have to climb over them or go around or crawl underneath. If you really want to do it: You should only do the first half of the track, when you start at the car parking lot through the woods. Take the same way back at the waterfalls and DO NOT take the other half of the loop! Not suitable for families with kids.
Although the waterfalls are really beautiful, the walk should be closed at the moment. The muddy part is okay if you have good footwear, but there are at least 4 really big trees and a couple of smaller trees which have fallen on the path. You can't see the way anymore and it's really difficult to get across.
