A little different than expected. But it can be seen.

I loved this forest, instantly takes you to the movie and you can even take a picture under the tree.

Nice little walk through the forest to see where the Fellowship scenes would have unfolded, however it is just a forest some imagination is needed! Benches with Lotr quotes on lead you the right path.

I am thrilled ? Very easy to find. You have to stay in the parking lot and keep to the right. Follow the way down. You come to a bank, with a quote from Gandalf over. Continue on the right in the curve and there you can already see the bench with the quote from Samweis and a little further along the edge and the gap in which the hobbits hid from the black rider.

Awesome ! We find ourselves at the place where a cult scene was shot. Follow the path, you will find 2 benches with quotes on your way and you will recognize the place where hobbits "hide"

When you come from Pirie Street walk past the playground until the ways part. There take the lower right way (yellow signs, hateitei to City or so) until you see the signs that say hobbit's hideaway. You'll come to a bench with a quote of Sam and a few metres after that there's the hideaway.

Immediately recognised this spot but there are helpful signs if you keep your eyes peeled too. Could feel the road narrowing to a tunnel... Amazing!

The path is easy to find and very recognizable. It obviously takes a little imagination ?

Loved this forest! So cool to see the hobbit hideaway!

Nice park to walk around in, plenty of activities to do for kids (or the young at heart). LOTR location marked by "Hobbit Hollow" signs. Not an awful lot to see but recognizable. There are benches scattered nearby with LOTR quotes too.
