28Apr2026: Car park for up to 5 self-contained vehicles. Located in the middle of the town, but entrance is a bit hidden and the surroundings are very quiet. We got there at 6 pm and It was empty. We spent a peaceful night.

The entrance is somewhat hidden behind the café. It's a lovely, quiet spot in a well-maintained park. The area marked in yellow on the map can accommodate five vehicles. We were the only ones there, along with just one other campervan. At night, some teenagers drove by in a car and tried to scare us with strange noises. We thought it was ridiculous, but it would certainly be unpleasant for women traveling alone. Around 8 a.m. the next morning, a large group of volunteers gathered in the parking lot.

A beautiful and peaceful spot, not close to the main road which is a plus. Restrooms across the road open until late (or maybe all night). There were only three of us in campers. A great place to spend the night.

Haben seit Jahrhunderten auf der Suche nach einem Ort in dieser Region und fand dieses versteckte Juwel. ziemlich wenig Ort mit Platz am Abend! Toiletten in der Nähe und ein paar schöne. definitiv empfohlen!😍

Versteckter, aber sehr angenehmer Freecamp! Drehen Sie vor dem Café, kurz nach dem DIY-Shop, es ist eine kurze Passage. Es gibt saubere Toiletten über die Straße. Super schöner Ort, es gab 1 anderes Fahrzeug als unseres. Geschäfte in Gehweite (Café, Supermarkt, etc.). Kurzer entspannender Spaziergang entlang des Haiku Park. Wifi-Punkt am Café nur oben (sehr gute Muffins und Lattes!)

Ein angenehmer Aufenthalt an einem wunderschönen Fluss und Park, sehr in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums.Es ist ein super ruhiger Ort für die Nacht, und die Toiletten sind ca. 200m entfernt, leicht zugänglich.

A bit hidden behind the cafe. Very quiet parking lot directly at the park and creek. Was there alone. More cars came at night? who were gone again in the morning. Gladly again

Quiet little spot, and we were the only ones there. Really quiet but around 3am I heard a car or cars and some lights. Might be police or the council doing their rounds ? Either way it was ok.

Fantastic spot. It’s a hidden gem. The park is well managed and very clean. We had a quiet night with the spot to ourselves. Only complaint is the bathroom is up the hill and across a street.
