Great spot! I stayed 2 nights with no issues as a solo female traveller, easy walk into town along the beach front and beautiful sunrise

This is my go to spot when staying in napier. Plenty of spaces so even if you show up late you're almost guaranteed a spot. Clean toilets, dump point, drinking water, sea views, flat spaces, phone reception- what more could you want!

Verbringen Sie eine Nacht hier. Wir hatten keine Probleme überhaupt! Es ist so ein schöner Ort neben der Seeparade. Keine Probleme mit lauten Menschen auch. Toiletten schließen um 8pm oder so und eine Toilette kann nicht gesperrt werden. Wasser- und Müllstation zur Verfügung.

Wir verbrachten eine Nacht dort. Der Ort war ziemlich ruhig, trotz der Passage des Zuges von Zeit zu Zeit. Die Toiletten waren richtig. Es gibt Trinkwasser und eine Station, um das graue Wasser zu entleeren. Viele Parkplätze. Manche Menschen scheinen dort zu leben, aber sind nicht störend oder laut.

Was sceptical by previous reviews but had a lovely stay here! Views are stunning & had no issues with noise at all. Toilets were fine, did the job and I’ve DEFINITELY seen worse. Stayed here two nights and had no problems at all :)

We stayed there for the night and did not feel safe. Lots of people drinking and just driving circles around you staring at you.. even late at night. Smelly beach. Toilets were ok but one was locked all night.

Plenty of space, I traveled alone and felt safe. Sea view. Two toilets available, an outdoor shower. Not far from the city center. I recommend it!

Spent the afternoon there and wanted to stay for the night but didn’t feel safe. Some suspicious guy went around and looked inside the other vans/cars, my “neighbour” (local, normal car) was banging his door against my van every time opening it. I decided to go back to the place I was the night before.

Big freedom camping space right at the beach. Toiletts and dumping station at zhe car park. 30 min to city center by foot.
