Stayed here on a powered site. Wow what an awesome spot, natural park setting with amazing ocean views (sunrise was spectacular) Great staff, great amenities would definitely stay again.

“Kia ora Renee, What a lovely review to read, thank you! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay on our powered site. Waking up to a sunrise over the ocean is one of our favourite things about this spot too, so it’s great to hear it was a highlight for you. We’ll pass your kind words on to the team, who’ll be stoked to hear it. We’d love to welcome you back next time you’re in Napier.”

Such a great place to stay! Really tidy Holiday Park and the team a lovely, also great having a cafe on site with good food and coffee :) Looking forward to my next stay, the rooms were so clean and had everything I needed.

“Hi Damian, Thanks so much for taking the time to share this! It’s great to hear the room had everything you needed and that the park’s tidiness stood out. Our housekeeping crew put a lot of care into that, so your comments will mean a lot to them. We’re also pleased you made the most of the café. There’s nothing quite like a good coffee and a bite to eat just a short stroll from your door. We’re already looking forward to having you stay with us again. See you next time!”

Site was good for parking wise BUT I found it unbelievable that you have to pay to use the showers and on top of that the showers and toliets are completely unisex this creates a massive opening for sexual assault. I personally did not feel safe sharing bathrooms and paying already $56 for a powered site then paying $5 extra for hot water. Didn’t use any of the other facilities such as the kitchen ect.

“Hi Annie, Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear you didn’t feel comfortable during your stay. Feeling safe while you’re with us is really important, so we appreciate you raising this. We’d like to clarify that while one of our amenity blocks is unisex, our main block has separate male, female and family bathrooms, and every bathroom across the park is fully lockable. Our showers are metered at $1 per minute, which is outlined on our website, so guests only pay for the time they use. If anything like this comes up during a future stay, please don’t hesitate to let our reception team know while you’re on site. We’re always happy to point you in the right direction or help with any concerns. You’re also very welcome to reach out to us directly, as we’d value the chance to talk it through with you.”

Have to pay for showers on top of the site which was odd

“Hi Alex, Thanks for staying with us and for sharing your thoughts. We understand paid showers aren’t something every guest expects. Ours work on a $1-per-minute basis, and we include this information on our website so travellers can plan ahead before they arrive. We appreciate the feedback and hope to see you back at the park again sometime.”

Lovely views of the beach and bay- worth booking Beach side pitch. Very clean toilets and showers. Showers need $1 coin and work well. Nice site with established shrubs on site, feels less barren than most sites. Pitches are very small so might feel crowded in peak season but lovely in March. We didn't use the cafe or kitchen. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small playground plus bouncing pillow and trampoline.

“Hi there, Thanks for such a thoughtful and detailed review! We’re delighted the beachside pitch lived up to expectations. Those views across the bay really are something special, and it’s great to hear you’d recommend it to others. It’s lovely to know the established plantings made the park feel welcoming, and that you found the bathrooms clean and the team friendly. We also appreciate your honest note about pitch sizes. March is a beautiful time to visit, and the quieter shoulder season does give everyone a bit more breathing room. Next time you’re passing through, be sure to try the café, and we’d be happy to have you back.”

Lovely tidy park with great, clean facilities. We had a great pitch backing on to the beach with wonderful views. We had to leave earlier than planned, due to the severe weather warnings.

“Hello, Thank you for the kind words about the park and our facilities. A pitch right on the beachfront is hard to beat, and we’re glad you got to enjoy those views while you were here. What a shame the weather cut your stay short, though. Leaving early was the sensible call with the warnings in place, and we hope you made it home safely. Hopefully next time the skies stay clear and you can enjoy every night of your visit with us.”

Freundliches Personal, angemessene Einrichtungen.
