Incredibly beautiful place, view of the lake and the mountains. Sun on site until sunset

So peaceful. Free hot showers. Hardly anyone here and plenty of space if there was. We pulled right up to the lake and enjoyed sunset and sunrise. Just follow the link to make a reservation.

Dieser Ort ist schön. Wir blieben 2 aufeinanderfolgende Nächte (Fri und Sat) und es war ruhig mit viel Platz. Vielleicht 10-12 andere Vans dort, aber jeder ist weit voneinander entfernt. Es gibt flushless Toiletten, und eine heiße Dusche! Ich habe einige Fischfischerei gemacht, aber leider nichts gefangen. Die Straße nach unten ist nicht groß, es gibt Töpfe Löcher und Steine.

Ankunft in der Nacht in der Dunkelheit, schwer zu sehen, aber es gab viel Platz. Einige Hunde lachen, aber das war es. Toilette sauber, benutzte nicht die Dusche. Abgesehen davon, dass hauptsächlich regnet, so nicht viel zu sehen, war es in Ordnung im Regen, wenn Sie darüber nachdenken, wo Sie parken.

Großer Raum am Ufer des Sees, kann man leicht einen Platz in der Ruhe zu finden. Trockene Toiletten und heiße Dusche sehr wertvoll. Ein paar Räume mit geschützten Tischen. Ein Ort zu empfehlen !!

Wonderful freedom campground!Beautiful view and atmosphere. Easy to get the permit and there is FREE HOT SHOWER! Love it!

Lovely spot even in the pouring rain! Really peaceful, loads of space too. Long drip toilets. Council did a rubbish run first thing in the morning. Would definitely stay again 😊 Apply for a free permit with South Waikato Council.
