Privater Ort, ruhig und ohne Lichter. Es könnte in der Nacht ein bisschen schrecklich sein. Aufenthalt 1 Nacht und es gab nur 1 Van. Es ist nur in der Mitte von Nirgendwo und ziemlich weit von einer Stadt entfernt.

Keine Toiletten, bleiben Sie im Waihaha DOC kostenlosen Campingplatz auf der Straße stattdessen - Toiletten, Kochbereich und Waschbecken für Geschirrspüler, plus viel Platz.

Wir blieben für eine Nacht und es war sehr ruhig. Folgen Sie den Anzeichen für das Kraftwerk und Sie werden es kein Problem finden.

Very quiet peacefully spot for a night's stopover. Directions and GPS cordinates not quite right. Instead of driving straight ahead when you get to the last intersection via towards the right, sign says Rangipo Power Station

This site is 500 Mtrs or so past the main campground but not marked well. After passing the main signposted camp area beside the stream, turn left into a road that stops at a power station. There seem to be a few holes in the forest right next to the stream. Wonderful clear water. Shade and sun where required .
